DAX is recruiting for multiple Internal Medicine / Family Practice positions at Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center in Augusta, Georgia.

• Specialty: Board Certified or Board Eligible Internal Medicine or Family Practice (3 needs)
• Client: VAMC
• Location: Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center – Augusta, GA
• Dates coverage is needed: ASAP for 1 year with 4 option years (anticipated start date early July)
• Schedule/Shifts Times: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM 
• Call Requirements: None
• % inpatient / % outpatient: 100% Outpatient
• Patient Volume: 12-15 patients per day on average
• Patient Ages: Adults only
• Types of Cases:
  • Preventive care (immunizations, screenings)
  • Chronic disease management (diabetes, hypertension, COPD, heart disease)
  • Acute care visits
  • Mental health screenings (PTSD, depression, substance use)
  • Geriatric care and care coordination

• Support Staff: Physicians, mid-levels, nurses, social workers, pharmacists, and specialists
• Procedures Required: none
• Type of Charting: EMR-CPRS
• Requirements: Board Certified or Eligible FP or IM, Any State License accepted, DEA, BLS, ACLS
• Credentialing Timeframe: 8-10 weeks on average
