Responsibilities 

• Evaluate and treat emergency patients 
• Perform emergency procedures as needed 
• Stabilize critically ill and injured patients 
• Coordinate transfers when appropriate 
• Document care in the electronic medical record 
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals

Qualifications Required 

• MD or DO 
• Current unrestricted U.S. medical license (any state accepted) 
• DEA 
• BLS 
• ACLS 
• PALS 
• Recent Emergency Department experience

Preferred 

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine 
• Family Medicine or Internal Medicine physicians with significant Emergency Medicine experience are encouraged to apply. 
• Previous rural or Critical Access Hospital experience
