DAX Healthcare Solutions is seeking experienced General Dentists to provide high-quality dental care to our nation’s Veterans at the Orlando VA Healthcare System (OVAHCS). This is an excellent opportunity to work in a collaborative federal healthcare environment with a predictable weekday schedule and no on-call responsibilities.

Position Highlights

• Full-time opportunity (40 hours/week)
• Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Salary Range: $134-$140 per hour plus t&l (if applicable)
• No call
• Any State License accepted
• Long-term federal contract with one-year base period and four option years
• Stable, team-oriented practice environment
• Serve the Veteran population throughout Central Florida.

Practice Locations

• Primary assignment:
• Orlando VA Medical Center (Lake Nona)
• Occasional travel may be required to:
• Lake Baldwin VA Clinic
• Viera VA Clinic
• Daytona Beach VA Clinic.

Responsibilities

• The General Dentist will provide comprehensive dental care including:
• Comprehensive dental examinations
• Diagnosis and treatment planning
• Preventive and restorative dentistry
• Fixed and removable prosthodontics
• Implant restorations
• Endodontic treatment
• Oral surgery and extractions
• Emergency dental services
• Oral pathology
• Treatment of temporomandibular disorders
• Minor oral surgical procedures
• Collaboration with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.

Qualifications

• Applicants must possess:
• DDS or DMD degree
• Current unrestricted license to practice dentistry in any U.S. state or territory
• Current BLS certification
• Current DEA registration
• Ability to obtain VA credentialing and clinical privileges
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
